Age
The minimum age for students is 18 unless specified otherwise or with the prior consent of Kingsmore International.
Timetable
Each lesson is a minimum of 45 minutes. Regular breaks of up to 15 minutes will be taken between lessons at the discretion of the course tutor. Lesson times are between 9.30am- 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. Study facilities including a multimedia private study room and library are available to students 9.00am -6.00pm Monday to Saturday. All courses begin on Monday. The minimum course duration is 1 week (Monday to Friday). Students can study for any number of weeks in accordance with their particular requirement.
Course Fees
Course fees include:
All administration and registration fees, tuition, refreshments and soft drinks during study times.
Course materials, welcome pack, leaving report, course assessment, use of a PC for private study and internet access.
Home stay accommodation with a family is also included if specified at the time of enrolment.
Course Fees do not include:
Examination fees unless agreed by prior arrangement, daily living expenses, transport costs, bank charges, insurance.

Enrolment procedure
Your application will be acknowledged in writing within 7 days of receipt and a place provisionally reserved for you on your chosen course. Reservation will be confirmed and a student registration number issued to you when full payment is received provided this is no later than 4 weeks before the start of your chosen course. Non-EU students subject to Visa Requirements. Students who are nationals of countries outside the European Union and subject to Visa restrictions before studying in the UK will be required to provide Kingsmore International with a copy of their passport details before starting a course.
Payment
In the case of payment by bank transfer students should provide evidence from their bank that the transfer has been made and should ensure that fees are received into Kingsmore's account at least 4 weeks before the start of their chosen course.
Kingsmore International reserve the right to cancel any applications for enrolment due to late receipt of payment.
In the event of cancellation due to late payment, funds remitted by the student will be returned less bank charges incurred plus a 5% administration fee.
Methods of payment
By bank transfer. Please see the Kingsmore International Enrolment form for bank details or consult the book a course page of our website www.kingsmore.co.uk.
By bank draft payable to Kingsmore International in Euros or Pounds sterling.
By credit card. Please consult Kingsmore International if you wish to pay by credit card.
Please note that we require payment in full and that all bank charges are to the account of the student.
Course Prices
Our standard price list is published on the Kingsmore International website: www.kingsmore.co.uk.
Written copies are available on request from Kingsmore International, 23 Hinton Road,Bournemouth,Dorset BH1 2EF.
Standard course prices are subject to annual review and will normally be revised in January of each year.
From time to time special discounts discounts are offered on specific courses.
Prices quoted on enquiries with respect to special offers will be valid for acceptance for a period of 90 days.
Courses which are privisionally booked on the basis of special price offers must be taken and paid for within 12 months of the course booking date.
Enrolment dates
Courses are offered by Kingsmore International on a continual basis starting each Monday unless indicated otherwise. Kingsmore cannot guarantee availability of places for students who enrol late. Students accepted for late enrolment (less than 4 weeks before course start date) will be required to pay all fees before a place is confirmed.
UK national holidays
Students should check prior to registration whether their chosen course dates include UK national holidays. Kingsmore International will not issue refunds to students whose course dates include UK national holidays, however, where possible Kingsmore International will endeavour to provide the student with social activities during the holiday period and at the discretion of the course tutor provide additional lessons to compensate for lost study time due to national holidays.
Student holidays
Students taking courses of 8 weeks or more may take up to two weeks holiday subject to a minimum of two weeks notice being given to Kingsmore prior to their holiday period.
Insurance
Kingsmore International accepts no liability or responsibility for students travel or medical insurance. We recommend that students take out insurance to cover loss during travel and medical and/or repatriation costs in the event of accident, injury or illness.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation by a student before the course start date
Kingsmore International will refund all fees to the student less 5% administration costs and except any bank charges incurred provided cancellation of a course is confirmed in writing to us at least one week before the course start date.
If a course is cancelled less than 7 days before the start date Kingsmore International will refund 50% of all fees less any bank charges incurred.
Cancellation by a student during a course
Students will be required to give one weeks notice to Kingsmore International.Provided such notice is given, Kingsmore International will retain one week’s course fees to cover cancellation charges and refund to the student all other outstanding fees less the cancellation fees and number of weeks the student attended the course.
The refund will be made to the student within 30 days of the notice of cancellation being received.
Cancellation by Kingsmore International
Kingsmore International will refund all course fees and bank charges to the student if for any reason we have to cancel a course.
Non-arrival of students
It is important that students notify Kingsmore International in the event of any travel delays or other reasons preventing them from attending a course they have registered for. In the event of non-arrival of students, Kingsmore International will notify the family or next of kin of the student that the student has not arrived if the student has not already contacted us. Kingsmore International reserves the right to cancel a student’s enrolment in the event of non-arrival or late arrival of the student. In the event of cancellation of enrolment due to non-arrival Kingsmore International will refund 50% of the course fees less bank charges. Kingsmore International will advise UK immigration authorities of the passport details of any students subject to Visa requirements who fail to arrive on the course start date and who have not provided a valid reason for late arrival or non-attendance.
Non-attendance of students
Students who do not attend a course or who fail to attend on a regular basis without acceptable reasons such as illness, accident, family bereavement etc will be permanently excluded from their course. Kingsmore International will retain one week’s course fees and fees in respect of the number of weeks or days the student attended the course. A refund of the balance of course fees less bank charges will be made to the student within 30 days of the student being excluded from the course. Kingsmore International will advise UK immigration authorities of the passport details of any students subject to Visa requirements who fail to attend a course or who have been excluded from a course.
Disruptive behaviour
Kingsmore International reserves the right to exclude any student from a course due to disruptive and anti-social behaviour such as repeated lateness in attending classes, violent or offensive behaviour towards students or teachers. In the event of the exclusion of a student due to disruptive behaviour, Kingsmore will retain one week’s course fees to cover cancellation charges and refund to the student all other outstanding fees less the cancellation fees and number of weeks the student attended the course. The refund will be made to the student within 30 days of the notice of cancellation being received
Visa and travel permits
Students who are citizens of countries within the European Union will normally have the right to study in the UK without a travel permit or Visa. Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union may require a Visa or travel permit in order to study in the UK Kingsmore International cannot accept any responsibility for ensuring that student comply with Visa requirements. Students are advised to check with the British Consul before travelling to the UK for study if they require confirmation of entry requirements.
